Positive results from research on excessive sleepiness (idiopathic hypersomnia)

Last year, Anima Research Centre participated in a clinical study in patients suffering from excessive sleep urge or idiopathic hypersomnia.

This is a condition characterised mainly by excessive daytime sleepiness and prolonged night-time sleepiness, which often makes it difficult for patients to function in everyday life.

No medication was available for this before, but thanks to the positive results of this study, government approval has already been obtained in the US.
