Skin conditions
Research into possible treatments for people living with vitiligo, psoriasis, lichen simplex chronicus, or atopic eczema

About this study project
Vitiligo is a skin condition that can have a significant impact on daily life and quality of life. In this study, we are investigating potential new treatments for adults with vitiligo.
Vitiligo causes white, depigmented patches on the skin due to the loss of pigment cells (melanocytes). These patches can appear anywhere on the body and vary in size and number.
This condition is often associated with:
- White, sharply defined patches on the skin, sometimes distributed symmetrically across the body
- Sensitive skin that is more vulnerable to the sun and burns more quickly on the depigmented areas
- Reduced self-confidence, social insecurity, or an impact on mental well-being
- A negative effect on overall quality of life
Criteria
How to participate
- Register via the online form; you will receive a confirmation e-mail
- Our team will contact you for further follow-up and to assess whether participation is clinically appropriate
- Begin participation under medical supervision, including a treatment period and follow-up visits
You will receive personalised guidance from our team of physicians and researchers throughout the study. You are encouraged to ask questions at any stage and will receive support at every step to ensure you feel informed and clinically well-supported.
Why your participation matters
By participating, you contribute to the clinical understanding of how adults with skin conditions such as psoriasis, lichen simplex chronicus, vitiligo, or atopic eczema respond to potential therapeutic interventions. The data collected will support the further development of these treatments and may provide valuable insights for future clinical care.
