Dr. Marc Peeters

As Professor of Oncology at the University of Antwerp and board member of Maria Middelares Ghent and Ziekenhuis Geel, advancing cancer care is something I am deeply committed to every day. Until December 2024, the Antwerp University Hospital was led as CEO, following years of heading the oncology department and coordinating the Multidisciplinary Oncology Centre Antwerp.

My expertise lies in the treatment and optimisation of therapies for digestive tumours. Within ANIMA Research, collaborating on oncology studies is something I approach with great commitment, driven by the conviction that every study makes a tangible contribution to better cancer treatments for patients.
