Excessive Substance Use
SubscribeANIMA Research is conducting a clinical trial of a new drug that may help control alcohol use. The study targets adults who drink alcohol regularly and seek support for doing so.
The purpose of the study is to investigate whether the drug is effective in reducing alcohol consumption. Participants will be medically monitored and receive professional counseling throughout the study.
Important: each participant will receive the active study drug for a long period of time (in phase 1 or 2 of the study). Thus, there is no placebo group in which participants receive only a fake drug.
